Privacy policy

Data controller. Vision Daily is operated by Konrad Werys, an individual, as part of the bluestream.news project. Contact: privacy@bluestream.news.

What we collect. Just your email address, plus consent metadata recorded at signup and confirmation: timestamp and IP address. We don't use analytics cookies and the signup form asks for nothing else (data minimisation).

Why, and on what basis. We use your email address to send the newsletter you signed up for. The legal basis is your consent, given via a double opt-in flow (you must click a confirmation link before anything is sent) and withdrawable at any time — see "Your rights" below.

Processors. Two processors handle your data on our behalf:

• 📧 Resend — stores your contact record and sends the newsletter and confirmation emails.
• ☁️ Cloudflare — hosts the signup page and the Worker that runs the double opt-in flow, and stores the pending-confirmation token and consent record.

Both are covered by their respective Data Processing Agreements, and both process data under appropriate international-transfer safeguards for transfers outside the EU/EEA (Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Retention. Your email address is kept for as long as you're subscribed — deleted immediately on unsubscribe or an erasure request. The consent log (proof that you opted in, and when) is kept separately for around 3 years, matching the evidentiary period recommended for GDPR consent records.

Tracking. Issues include click tracking (which links you clicked) so we can tell what's useful; open tracking is switched off. The signup site itself sets no cookies (Cloudflare Turnstile's bot check is cookieless), so there's no cookie banner.

Your rights. Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time — none of which affects processing already carried out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.

• ✉️ Unsubscribe — every issue has an unsubscribe link (stops future sends immediately; Resend retains suppression records to prevent re-sending).
• 🗑️ Full erasure — use the form below to permanently delete your email address and consent record from our systems. Confirmed by email, the same way signup is, so no one else can erase your subscription on your behalf.
• 📬 Anything else (access, rectification, a complaint) — email privacy@bluestream.news.
